I've been told that a knocklink comes as standard with the WRX STI V4 TYPE-R...is this true?

its an LED guage which when fitted detects pinking/detonation in the engine

but do you know hows to check the oil properly? There are 2 high level marks on the dipstick, one for cold oil, one for hot.

oo would like to know mark about the oil marks, i have two hole and wedges, i asume the wedge is for hot as the marker is higher ?>
