Fuel econonemy figures.
Looking to buy an STI7 with PPP but am a bit worried about the fuel econ (ok yeah yeah if you want economy dont buy a fast car)
I had a UK99 turbo wagon with 80000 miles on the clock before and could just about afford to run it but am concerned that the STI7 might be even worse??? can anyone give me any idea as to what your getting to the gallon and miles per tank?????? how long is a piece of string I know but if I get a few replies then I can average them out.
many thanks in advance

I get between 17 and 25 depending upon the type of journeys etc.
Im selling my non PPP STi7 here if your interested (free plug) http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...hreadid=258139
Add PPP to it and its still a bargain

My STi7 average was 15mpg but now PPP'd about 17mpg. This is on town driving and spirited runs
But I have achieved 25+mpg on Motorway runs and bad weather and traffic

NXG I know what your saying m8 but I do 30k a year and the UK classic turbo I had was killing me!
But saying that I have a Nissan Almera hire car and I didnt half hate putting a tank of fuel in it, just seemed like a waste of money, never felt it was a waste putting a tank of gas in the Scooby as you new you would have fun using it.
looks like fuel returns would be a bit better than my old Scoob though.
