Yes, it looks like someone else knows of it - in the sense that they know it's sat in a salvage yard after a front-ender.
As for the car's history, that's a slightly different matter. As mentioned in the other post, the overriding priority if you're planning on rebuilding it is to make sure there's no hidden structural damage that would either make the repair uneconomic, or, even worse, fail when the car is back out on the road and being driven hard.
