Disable airbag ???

Sad question i know but can the front passenger airbag be disabled ?? I need to put in a rear facing child seat and i can't do this with the airbag enabled

I was going to ask the very same question today dude to fitting a Terratrip and maplight on the navi side dash. Mines a MY99 UK car but their must be a fuse somewhere
