Although I do not know Dave or Carolyn, it only seems right to come here and offer my deepest sympathy before resuming usage of the service. Well done to the operators of Snet for the kind and sensitive gesture.

I did have the honour to know Carolyn, although not as well as I would have liked. She was a warm and kind person, who also posessed tremendous determination and a refreshing honesty.
Both Carolyn and Dave were enormously valuable members of Scoobynet, who made numerous friends on the BBS (me included) and the Webmaster's decision to close on the day of the funeral was a superb gesture. Particularly fitting, as it's a mark of respect reserved for very few.
Our thoughts are now with Dave at this very sad time.

Very sad
Dave & Carolyn were the first 2 members of the Scooby community that I met on my very first meet at Much Hadham several years ago.
Thoughts are with Dave & family.
