Hi all,

Just throwing it out there in case anyone might know off the top of their head.

Have a strange problem with steering, when I accelerate while turning the wheel, it gets "stuck" a little and feels like metal touching each other coming from feedback through the wheel.

Might be something rubbing, but if anyone has any other ideas, would be appreciated!

how old is your scoob.. ?? Check the steering rack, my old lotus carlton snapped a tooth in the rack and i had grinding everytime the mechanism moved over that part in the rack, so I wrote the car off

 

MY99 didnt think it would be that serious - hope not anyway....

Getting fully checked out tomorrow just to be safe.
