....the standard boost in PSI/BAR of the 1997 impreza wrx sti type R??

Not sure, thought i read somewhere that a normal turbo gives 6-8 psi boost, dont quote me though

my 98MY WRX type R shows 1.2 bar when you initially plant the gas, then drops to around 1 bar or just over

thats with a HKS Bright meter so it may not be 100% accurate

My MY99 Type R was 1.2bar aswell but not sure if that helps you much.

mine my00 ra runs 1.25 and holds 1.15
