Could someone please help me out by posting the exact size in mm of the double DIN radio/cd/tape player (only the sizes you can see will be fine) fitted to MY01-MY03 WRX's

Just measured the pile of Poo, whoops meant, Double din standard Stereo out of my STi7 and it's 178mm x 100mm ( No responsiblity for the tape measure or the reading off)

Thanks alot that is super helpful, I wonder if I could be so bold as to ask another favour. I have purchased a double din sat nav system that is 100x190mm (the unit, metal case,is the standard size, but the face is slightly wider so it will fit in the slot) could you tell me if you think it would fit. i.e Is there a flat area to the sides of the radio that the sat nav can press up against or is it angled immediately from the radio so the whole unit will be prodruding? All help and opinions will be greatly appreciated.

I only measured the Radio Unit wouldl need to measure the 'Cover/Trim' apperature that goes over the vents and radio.

I am at work now so can't do till tomorrow

Some corrections to the measurement's

The Unit is 100mm x 178mm x 180mm deep

The hole through the front cover is about 98mm x 172mm as only the reduced size of facia
