I was looking at a couple on auto trader for arund 8-10k 97/98 year..
But the milage on them was around 70,000! would you avoid that kinda milage? my main concern would is that it needs to be reliable!

70k is OK - provided it's been serviced and looked after properly.

There are owners here who have nearly 170k on their cars!

MY97 UK Turbo has 92K on it with Full Service History. I have had no problems what so ever.

Its for sale as well £6000

for £8-10k I'd be wanting a low mileage example! Why spend that kind of money on something thats done 70,000 miles?!
I spent £7k on an import, granted a lot older (1993) but only 47k miles.
However, I'm not saying that high mileage scoobies are a problem. I hope not anyway as I'm planning to have this one for a long time!
