Thumbs up

Just a quick message to say hello, I've just bought my first scooby a '99 5dr Turbo with 50k on the clock. What can I say I'm converted. Lovely cars, great drive don't know why I haven't bought one before now.

Anyway I bought it from Bulldog Twyford (West Berkshire). They are taking over from the Pangbourne main dealer garage in this area. I know some people on the board were inquiring about the new dealership. Bulldog are a family run garage that used to deal Hyundai but are now Subaru. The garage itself is quite small but they do have a bodyshop further up the street where they do servicing.

The sales guy I dealt with, Jason Barney used to work at Pangbourne and I found him very helpful indeed. I would definatly recommend them to anyone in my area.

btw. I'm not affiliated with the garage in any way!

On another note, I seem to get this clutch judder on my scoob also. More defined when its cold. Is this anything to worry about?

I got mine only 3 weeks ago and all i can say is ENJOY!!
Then again i had the benefit of mine being modded with SS STi exhaust and Eifel Prova Concept of Nurburgring ECU which is running well over 300+BHP so mine i guess feels even better.
Not that i had a Scoobie to compare to it b4 though...
Not got it on the rollers yet but when i do i will post back the results.

Apparently the clutch judder when cold is ECU related but nothing to worry about.

Perhaps the tech minded can shed some light?

Oh, and welcome!

Welcome fellow newbie. I got my UK300 PPP a couple of days ago and have also got the clutch judder. It is present when cold and also when stopping and starting in heavy traffic, with a slight whirring sound at the biting point. If you type "clutch judder" into the search engine you will get loads of threads on it so it is obviously a very common thing. I'm going to get the dealer to look at mine all the same.

Very happy with everything else though. Just got to hijack enough threads to get rid of the Newbie tag now!!
