Finally managed to encode the video from Sunday's track session (the afternoon one)

See if you can spot anyone you know?

This video is coded for the PocketPC (Ipaq etc) and plays quite smoothly on there. Its about 10 megs - the full size is about 250 megs!!!

I'll maybe post more links depending on the demand.

I'd be interested to know what you think.

Do you have the full version available? I wouldn't mind hosting if other people want it also.

On second thoughts, just send me the highlights of the red new shape and the crazy Beemer guys - excellent stuff.

hehe - I've got a fairly decent copy @ 95 megs. (1500kbit/sec)

I'll host it for a while, but can't for ever as my bandwidth allowance will get taken up.

I'll upload it.

I can probably host if you get done for excess bandwidth!

Ian

great footage of you sliding round in the Spec C

the rules stated no overtaking on the bends, however it was funny seeing you slide around the outside of about 4 or 5 scoobs

I remember seeing you in my mirror whilst on track, and fast approaching, but I let you past on the start finish straight

I know but I was very careful tried to only overtake when I was on the way out and there was loads of room

The big video is now uploaded --> Link <--

What about this one?

(click the picture for the bigger, 2 meg version!)

-> Link <-

I'm sorting out some pictures as I type.... however I only had the camcorder and a small digital camera..... I left the SLR at home.

If anyone wants a copy of the actual DV putting onto VHS (or even back onto DV) then if they send me the media, I'll sort it.

You might want to blur-out the number plates, mate. Have those owners said they don't mind the plates being shown?

There were thousands of people at that place. I'm sorry, but I don't have the time to edit the whole thing. If people didn't want their plates to be shown, then they should have maybe put some false plates on like some did?

There are most likely pictures like this all over the Internet.

If people email me specifically about their car, then I'll sort something. (Data protection and all that)

I'm using Net Vampire. It looks like the connection keeps dying (i.e. bit rate falls to zero), but it keeps resuming just fine.

I think we've killed the webserver. My host allows 6 gig / month bandwidth, so I'll email em tomorrow.

Keep trying
