Red face

I selling my STI 8. Its 6 months old, with prodrive 18" alloys.

It's a minter. I've been offered £17k from an Audi dealer against a TT and £18k from a ford dealer against a Focus.

To say I'm underwhelmed is an understatement!!!!!!

£8k depreciation in 6 months. I dont think so.

Andy, punt it around some other dealers (BMW, Merc, Honda etc) and you`ll get a better idea of it`s value. You may still be in for a shock though.

Try going to a Subaru garage and asking what they'd give you for it, as a straight sale. Since they get people in who are after an STI, Audi and Ford dealers don't so will probably want to make 2k passing it on.

Andy on a serious note, have a look at Dave R's (How much for a new STI8) thread, his dad's in the market maybe worth speaking with him ???

Just a thought !!!

Same problem for me, considering changing my 00MY to a Diesel BMW or VW, offered 9K from both dealers.

Went to Subaru and asked for the PX against a 03 Impreza with PPP and was offered 13K!!!!!

Stayed with Subaru, I was only half heartedly looking at other marques, as the service from my local Subaru dealer is so good I don't want to leave them, sad or what.
