Welcome to scoobynet

My mate always used to buy accident damaged/repaired cars and even the light damage ones ALWAYS had some nigly thing that didn't work and always had to have work done to them..

When it says medium damage to me thats major work.. ther's more work to be done than meets the eye..
You can (VERY RARELY) grab a bargain with n accident damaged car and be completly happy with it.
To me a dream car is something i can be completly happy with..

Thats just my opinion hope you find one you like

I had minw written off and bought it back, got most of ny parts from Grade A subaru who are a breakers. The only thing i would say is to check how badly the engine is as this is probably where most of the money will go.

depends how bad a bang it had,i paid £7700 for a 2000 w reg sti 6 type r vlimited with very light rear fire damage,ie just back seats bootlid spoiler etc ,i have spent a fortune on it,all new panels to rear etc new interior full respray etc,now it owes me £12500,try and buy one for that!
ps all engine end was fine, thats the costly end just be sure to look into correctly and don't be pushed into anything you are unsure of,take someone with you to view it who knows prices of bits and work required
cheers

My old UK Scoob had a 20 odd mph collision with a barrier.

Needed two new wings, new bonnet, new front lip, new radiator, went on jig (no major twisting). That was about it. Fixed on insurance so costs included labour, but came to about 4.5k. Something to consider given that it was mainly cosmetic.....
