Nah, that'll be the clear indicators you fitted at the same time.

You guys crack me up !

It's at least 50 bhp increase for a green filter and 38.5 bhp for the indicators.

Why do you always underestimate ?

Skoosh.

So, what's that filter then? What make and where did you get it?
Realistically, what power increase are we looking at?Does it suit classic as well as the new age scoobs?

They make bugger all difference to power...maybe a little.

Its a Green cotton panel filter. Cost me £45 from Larkspeed in leeds. Replaces the oe filter in the airbox. It is oiled and allows air to flow alot more freeley (sp) in2 the engine. The box says a 4bhp increase.

Before ne1 says, the box says not me!

There was a 22B in jap performance other month that had a green induction kit, it lost power. He fitted a panel filter and gained power.

Obviously marginal gains.

Did you try and find out why Phil? If everything else under your bonnet was working properly, there's no way a properly fitted panel filter could cause "rough" running.

Did you take the air box out to fit the k&n?
its a tad smaller than the standard filter, and if you don't, the top of the air box sometimes can allow air in past the filter. I put one in 1000mls ago no probs at all.

I got it from a friend who has a my95 wrx we checked to see if the original was the same as the k&n they were so i fitted it .
Could this have been the reason why .
It was fitted properly with a bit of ease .
