I know there are a couple of topics about the Spec C but as I live in Belgium, there is no way to order it for me....
Just read the article in Evo Magazine and I must say that it's pretty impressive stuff.
The Spec C is 2-3 times cheaper than the GT3 or M3 CSL and is only a second slower on track.
Now I dream about the day that Subaru Belgium import this car especially for me...
Creepy

Are you sure ? It should be just as simple to import a vehicle from the UK -> Belgium as it is from Belgium -> UK.

It wasn't the fastest as standard, but from speaking to the other chaps today it wouldnt' be too hard to get that BHP up over 350, then I think you'd find it would eat both! Probably give a 355 a run for its money too! I WANT ONE!

A while ago I had a ride in a RHD Subaru here in Belgium, you get used to it, and even start a chat with the car nearby in a traffic queue.
But it's very dangerous to overtake, and you sit on the wrong side to see everything on a difficult corner, especially in city-driving....
Creepy.
PS : solution : Put my current GT on a weight regime, replace the turbo and manifold, order an ATD system and off we go....

Well spotted McBrun, was reading the article last night and also noticed that the in gear times for the Spec C was amazing. Cant remember exact figures, but examples being that the Scoob in 5th accelerated nearly as quickly as the others from 70-90 in 3rd. Would reckon in real life the scoob could be driven faster easier!

As with all figures they can be misleading - We can all look at figures that please us to read. Remember the GT3's gearing is a "little" different to the WRX in the fact it keeps on going until 190mhp
I like to look at the graph on page 102. Even though the GT3 is slower in some corners it still out accelerates the other 2 - take a look at Club chicane, Bank and Tower, its nearly 5mph faster before braking.
If you want some real world figures check out the 0-100 times, the GT3 is nearly 2 seconds quicker - largely because it is making 1 less gear change.
If you put the same tyres on the GT3 and the Impreza that were on the CSL - the CSL would look crap. I would expect the GT3 and WRX to be at least 2 seconds a lap faster.
The car that comes out badly in this is the CSL - £58.5k and it still has crap brakes!!!
