Maybe im being picky and insensitive, but i had to laugh at scooby article in this months revs magazine, silver revolution wrx demonstrator is featured at length, but methinks someone has been stitched up. the spec says it runs six spoke 18" speedlines(you can see the transfer) but are plainly compomotive mo,s.

i was going to order a set of racelines from them,im glad i didnt ,the may have sent tsw blades instead ,tee hee hee!

Magazines often make mistakes. Glen at Revolution is one of the most honest blokes I've met.

Not sure on the whole facts, but i'm going to see Glen this week, I know he did run his car on 17's but then went to 18's, maybe the pics are his own which may have been pre 18's. He has now sold the car and sold it with the 17's and has a 2 door STI, not 100% whick one but i'll find out.

Skip.

Thumbs up

Glen now has a 2 Dr STI Type R,I have also dealt with Revolution a number of times (only decent place in the North East) and have found them very professional each time.

Yep sorry D Noble, your'e way off the mark. Glen(and staff) are indeed the only people worth dealing with in NE.

To me, for anyone to put Revolution down, when its obviously a mixup with the magazine, is well out of order, as I said sorry!

if this is the case then i appologise profusly???(a lot) i did think it was the "hack" who made up the whole thing (as they so often do) but i checked again for a quote and here it is ,

"we spent ages colour coding the car to make it stand out from other imprezzas. and,as a finishing touch ,we sneaked a set of Speedline six spoke 18s under the arches instead of the 17s i fitted earlier...."

so who is taking the p***

is it the mild mannered man from revolution,
or is it those nasty people from a boy racer mag,or is it me.........

scooby dooby dooooo...

if anyone can get a response form revolution it would be interesting to hear their side of the story, im ok with badging the wheels speedline, but why SAY they are somthing there not

awrabest
