The Type-R's have got a japanese suspension setup which is harder cos of there glass flat roads so it is a little harder then other scoobys. The P1's had a different setup to cater for our potholes that seem to be everywhere.

My suspension on my TypeR is deffinetly not stiff.
They are pretty solid compared to a 'normal' car, but its deffinetly not to the point where its dangerous for our rouds, or even uncomfortable.
If I ever considered upgrading, I would be chosing adjustable dampers so I could stiffen it up a little more.
