I live in Israel and over here we don't get the powerful versions of the Impreza only the the GT (I own one).
As a Scooby fan I was thrilled when the mighty 22B came out, it had the looks and the first reports (CAR) said it had all the rest as well (0-60 in 3.9 sec).
But then came out the UK spec 22B and ruined the car with 5.0 sec to 60 (AUTOCAR).
I would like to know how fast is the Japanese spec 22B, how is it compared with the STI and EVO and as an all rounder (handling).

The main difference between the two cars from what I know is the gearing ratio, the 22B STi will be slighly quicker 0-60 but not that much.
The ratios in the type UK are more suitable for our road conditions. Which ever way you look at it both cars will offer sub 5.0 secs 0-60 and both look the nuts.
