Question

Driving through Twyford earlier I noticed that there is now a Scooby Dealership there.

Can't remember the name now.

Anyone used it for servicing as it is a lot closer to me than the one over in Pangbourne or the one in Maidenhead??

Comments grately appreciated!!

It is the garage that has the Jet Petrol station on the left as you head into Twyford from the Kennedy Garden center end of town.

I seem to remember it used to be a Mitsubishi Garage sometime ago but think it was something else inbetween. It was closed when I went past so didnt stop to see if they even did servciing or anything!!

Edited to Say apparently it is a Bulldog Service station according to the Subaru website!!!

I tried to check out the Subaru website but they have been tinkering with it and it's now 10x harder to use.

Would be nice to have a change form Lancaster as they always seem a bit expensive. I used to use the guys in Basingstoke until they lost their franchise. Wouldn't be so bad if scooby didn't need doing every 6 months. Is that reason enough to buy a new sti I wonder ...

I believe this place has only been open a month or two. It's interesting to see what's happening with the other local dealerships as well!

Thumbs up

I have just spoken to the Service dept there!!!

They have only officially been Subaru authorised for a week and the Technical guys from Subaru are coming down to give them all the software etc tomorrow which includes prices for servicing etc.

He told me something very intersting about another local dealership but dont know If I would get in trouble for posting it here

It's generally handbags-at-dawn when you ask one dealer about another.

OK but Mods - MattW told me too

The dealer I use and the one Andy uses is no longer going to be a Subaru Dealer which is why they are now doing it.

Now I am off to hide somewhere

So that'll mean yet another dealer's stamp in my book. Oh well, at least I get to see new places in the SE. Might even try S'hampton soon to get a little sea air!

Nah me neither but may give them a go for my next service and be the guinea pig as it is only an oilchange, plus you never know the mechanics from the other place might be moving jobs aswell

I popped in there last week and chatted to the sales guy. He gave me a map of their service centre as it is not at the new car salesroom (only round the corner though).

They are very new to it all and it'll be a while before they are really up to speed. Luckily I'm a little way from needing my 10,000 service so they should ok by then.

I get the feeling that they are dead chuffed to be selling Scoobys now though.

Rumour has that there could be another Scooby dealership popping up soon!

In the past when I have turned up at this particular garage to see my brother in law they have always ignored my car. However, last time I was there, my car was surrounded by all the sales and mechanics guys! I've since been told why!

I used to take my wifes Hyundai Coupe up to Bulldog Twyford. Always good guys to deal with and seemed to be clued up mechanically to deal with some of the niggles we had with the car.....but thats another story.

Good luck to them, especially if they don't mind touching Jap Imports.
