Hello

I am looking around to buy a car at the mo and am aiming for a STI V4 or 5 in the 2 door format.

One thing I am unsure of is running costs - ignoring insurance and petrol - how much money a year / month should I be expecting to spend? A few people who done really know too much have suggested loads. I am hoping that you can say otherwise?

Any info will be appreciated.

cheers

Martin

It really depends on

a) How many modifications you do - basically you can spend a fortune if you want..

b) How well the car's been looked after i.e. regular servicing and running on optimax/octane booster etc.

Servicing tends to be a lot cheaper than UK scoobs as you don't pay dealer prices..

Thanks. I want a standard car and fully intend to run it on Optimax / SUL at the least.

Would you agree then that the running costs will simply come down to the service (7500 miles - 6 months)?

If this is the case then I shouldnt have too much to worry about.

Thanks for the info
