Weird noises from your MY03 thread the other week

Picked up on the thread the other week about a number of MY03 owners complaining about a "weird noise" after so many K miles. Added to the thread that day "but cannot find it now, had a search so not that lazy
" in regard to my UK300 PPP (MY01) having the same problem. Mine has been back with the dealer today, due to he fact i was suffering the same problem.. used to happen when you wellied it, but got gradually worse and persistent throughout the rev band above 2 and a bit RPM. My dealers are now changing the gaskets on the Turbo, as they believe (fingers crossed) that this is the source of the problem (did not notice any lack of urgency though on the cars part, which suggested that there was no real loss of power ??). when I get the car back in a few days i will let you know of the outcome..Cheers

Still waiting for you to buy me a beer, in the area the whole of this weekend (might be scoobyless though
after the turbo, its going back to the bodyshop to see if they can stop the rear bumper coming adrift 
) so let me know your movements.Sorry to hear about Ians car, hope he gets it back soon (assuming he wants it back ?)

Will give you a call then on the weekend, in the smoke the whole week.. so little chance in the evening
Might try and get down saturday morning if you are in to look at the grale...assuming you have not flogged it by then...What are you getting in its place ????

Nothing I have had enough of cars and not having anytime of my own. I have enough trouble maintaining my fiancees car, my sisters cars and playing with my long term project car. I never have time to drive it so it may as well go and not get replaced. It may be gone by the weekend if I have my way
