Hi, welcome to the board

Your link doesn't seem to work, I'm guessing you copied it from your Hotmail account? You'll need to host the pic somewhere before we can see it here

Good luck

Looked like he dropped an oil hose from the turbo, as there was a huge flame under the car, then he spun on his own oil.
If you post on here at all mate, all I can say is this...

You did a bloody good job to keep it out of the wall!!

Hope she is all ok though.

Hi all, thought i better get on here and have a look see what everyone has said. I was the LUCKY PASSENGER in the car at the time, i was just there to video and then almost got toasted!! We were on about our 5th lap doing pretty good, no problems with the car and then it all went wrong at about 120mph. We were just coming up to the braking point at Quarry and then there was a god awfull noise and all the power to the engine just went, i saw masses of smoke in the rear mirror and shouted to slow down. Flames then started to come out the rear and at about 100mph the engine locked and caused us to spin, oil probably didnt help either. As we were spining around flames were just everywhere, all coming up infront of the bonnet, out the vent in the bonnet, from behind the car. Then to top it all off we saw the tyre wall coming closer and closer and were well lucky not to go into it. Once the car stopped Jim just shouted to get out quickly as smoke was coming in the car, we got out and the marshalls and the driver of the car behind us come over and put the fire out. What a fooking disaster!!!!!! but luckily we are still alive.
Now its just a case of finding out what the hell broke and finding the money to fix it!

Typical of insurance companies, take all your money but never pay out. Glad you found the prob out and can at last get to fix it!
