I was going to have rant on this, but I'll leave it to people to fill in.

If you think that then you must move away and leave us real enthusiasts to our beloved Scoobies.

I dont care if scoobs have had there day , when anybody from10 old lads through to 40 old woman say like your car who cares thats good enough for me. The shape, looks the way its sits on the road its ability to go through bends quick (unless your a complete ***)its the only car ive had that in 24 years off driving still just gives me a magic to drive, the only other car that inspired me like scooby does was my 205 1.9 Gti which was awesome for its sheer road holding and torque.

Who cares if their are a lot about, still the same to drive. Having everyone in the street turn and look at your car may be fun for a couple of weeks, but you soon tire of it.

Hope I'm going to love my Scooby as much as I loved my EVO.

2 Weeks and counting

Anyone checked the number of CTRs and Minis for sale? Loads and loads and loads and loads... At least the Impreza's been on sale in the UK over 9 years, so had plenty of time to build up the numbers. If the other cars are so good, how come people want to sell them so quickly? And no, not everyone's trying to make a killing.

Some people just get bored with stuff quickly and want a change. My father-in-law has been through 7 or 8 cars in the last 3 1/2 years, BMW's, Jags, Merc's, Land Rovers, a tonne of stuff. They've all be good cars (except the jag which was rubbish)but after a while he wants something else.
So maybe a lot of scoob drivers are the same. They bought one, had a lot of fun, but now they fancy something else. It doesn't mean we can't still love our scoobs, does it??

Wink

Suprised people still buy 'em to be honest. Max Power/drug dealer image, ****e build quality, chocolate pistons little tuning potential, beaten by just about everything on wheels 'in the dry' and only run on Optimax.

Who in their right mind would want to buy a car that is 4wd sub 6 sec 0-60 and crack onto 150mph(APPROX) and is grrrrrrrreat 'in the twisties' and has a decent rally heritage and all for between 4-28K (excludes 22B).

I wonder how long it is before this BBS closes due to lack of use and all the scoobs are all running on 28" alloys slammed to da deck have more electroic equipment than Dixons and cheaper than chips. They are the 'new Corsa' and will be owned exclusively by 17y/o's.

Sell them, sell them all!!!!

Honestly, who would have one?
