How does this deal sound?

Flannel,
Sounds good to me. I'm in the market for one too in a couple of months.
Some questions:
What is Superguard?
Which dealer?
4 door?
Any Tracker subscription cost included?
Thanks
Arthur

I bought a MY03 WRX from Well Lane on EU import (Holland) 3 weeks ago.
Differences so far have been:
- locking wheel nuts, not on EU spec. (£25)
- Had to pay full whack for 1000 miles service (~£100 at dealer), (UK dealer models have service pack thrown in on the purchase price - not entireley sure what it all comprises of, but wheel nuts and service are at least 2 items).
- alarm/immobiliser, you'll need to get a Thatcham cat 1 system fitted at the very least(dealer pack throws a Sigma alarm in I think). EU spec comes with a different system (cat 2 immob) which you'll need to have replaced. (£250~£500ish)
- all the documentation (manual, service book etc) came in English. However, you need an EU CoC (certificate of conformity) and a copy of the ORIGINAL purchase invoice (the one that the dealer in holland got from Subaru. You then need to register with a company that administers the joint EU/UK warranties (no hassle, easy enough - just fax the CoC and PO invoice to them).
- Got tank of petrol, mats chipped in.
- Got good-fair trade in price for old lump
Well Lane is basically sorted. I dealt with Paul Thompson and he was sound. I would deal with them again.
I paid a lot less than UK book price all in. I'm surprised the price has gone up so quickly.
