hi james !!!
have you tried hylton's of shrewsbury ,went there with rob and richie the other weekend to see what they would give us for ours to trade in for a newer model ,they gave us a better price for trade in than we paid for it at threeways.. it's worth a try ,are you after a newer one ?

Thats not bad compared to some other makes.
Here's a quote on my Alfa 156 Selespeed Veloce, December 2001, 15000 miles.
Dealer £10,115
Private £9,648
Part Ex £8,803
Trade £8,721
Cost New £19,220
I actually had a few extra's putting the list price at over £20000. At 18 months old I was offered £7500 part exhchange at a Ford dealers.
Looking round at the Ford Dealers they had a year old top spec V6 Mondeo that also had Sat Nav, Xenon lights, parking sensors etc. Full list £23000 its a year old for £11500.
In context the Scoob still doing well its just the Market is dire at the moment. Very few cars holding value only the very desirable stuff.

Phil,
My workmate has a MY01 bugeye on a "y" plate, he is going to live abroad and has been trying to sell the car. Best offer he's had so far is £11000 from a main dealer. He's had it advertised for £12500 in the trader but not had a single call execpt from other advertising companies.
