Am thinking of a Green filter for my PPPd STI7,iv got a TSL firestorm centre section and b/box,just wondering if there are any issues with these as iv heard some nightmares with the ITG ones, cheers in advance,Oh does anybody know if anyone has got these equal length headers from Powerstation fitted to their STI7 yet,its going to involve a re-map? and can this be done to a PPP ecu or is it locked?

Nathan, I am using one in mine with no problems. I know several people who have been using them for 10,000 mi. plus also with no problems.
You won't really noticing increase in power, but there is a subtle increase in throttle response, especially noticeable under 3000 rpm, and you will also noticed your exhaust popping and banging more.

Green all the way. Having researched this a lot due to my risk aversion when it comes to such modifications, I am now running a green panel filter from TSL in my 2002 WRX.
Whereas I have read reports of problems with the ITG (albeit uncommon) I have never read problems with the green filter, which is also similar to the type that MRT run in their group n cars.
The green panel filter has also been proven to flow more air than even certain induction kits, and causes no running problems.

Dealer explained that the ITG filter is oil based, hence if the maf sensor fails it is NOT covered under warranty. I've just ordered the green panel filter.
Also scoobysport explained the flow rate is better on the green panel filter.

I need to get a decent filter in my MY98, and Green sounds good.
Had a look on their site: http://www.needforspeed.co.uk/green/...PartType=AFG22 - can anyone tell me the difference between the Grp a and Grp N ones?

Filtration is down to <5 microns. Do clean the dirty face with a vacuum cleaner every now and then but don't oil it. Replace it every 30k.

Sorry to but in, but I have just read this mail. I have a Pipercross induction kit on my MY98, my question is would I be better off putting the old air box back in with a green filter for 1 same or better performance
