I was wondering why at the mo' there seems to be so many SNetters offloading their P&Js. Over the last week I've seen at least 4 STi8's, 3 STi7's and a fair few WRX's (mostly bugeyes), not to mention quite a few P1's (a rare car to start with) coming up in the ForSale section.
Is it a sign that the image of the car is waining ?
Is the economy about to go t1ts up ?
Are they readying themselves for a secret new SuperScooby ?
Are they getting old, growing up and buying Rovers ?
I'd like to say to all those currently selling, "STOP IT, I haven't got enough cash stashed yet." Especially you justinber , I'd love your car but I'm about 6 months off having the cash.

IMHO people are selling them all the time because they dont realise just how much the cars cost to run when they buy them.
Lots of people in IT graduate and get some nice contract jobs and have money to burn and they always seem to get Imprezas, then when the economy goes slow they're the first to suffer and off goes the car!
I'm gonna stick it out and try to keep my one for the long term and spread the cost, no point doing all those mods and selling it, gonna keep it and if it blows up stick a newer/bigger/more powerful engine in it and carry on regardless.

Corradoboy,
Check out Top Marques one week, its unbelieveable how many pages of scoobies are for sale. I reckon they are up their with the BMW's for sheer volume of numbers for sale.
Craig.
