Had an STi4 for 4 years now, love the car, it's been totally reliable but I just don't get to use it much. Insurance and tax come in at around 1k a year.
Now I don't drive to work, don't need the car for work, live close to town, it doesn't have split seats anyway so it's not the best load carrier.
Gilfriend has a KA and a Cappuccino, I love the Cappo, great fun, KA is gutless though and longer journeys will be hell but only do about 2-3 longish runs (200+ miles) a year.
So the question is, should the Scoob go?
Seems daft it just sitting there... Even she gets the train to work now so there are 3 cars sitting around during the week. How dumb is that
I would miss the power.
I would not miss the costs.
I would miss the grin factor. But the Cappo is great fun too.
Should we sell all three and get a TT or S2000 type thing.
Really would like a hard top convertible. The Cappo is just that but with the roof in the boot you can't get much else in.
Don't want to spend anymore money than the value of the three.
Just sell the Scoob and be dull and pay off some mortgage? (shudders)
I don't know, what would you do?

When it's gone. you'll miss it and want it back.
If you must have a coupe/cabriolet, the new Megane (shudders) due soon looks interesting with its glass roof. Pug have a 307CC coming soon too. I think the GF/wife having these while you have a Scoob is a cool compromise. Best of all worlds.

Rich, Mate, you know I've been there and so has Mark, both sold scoobs for all the right reasons, neither of us spent longer than 2 months with out one, just had to buy another. Why not sell the lot and buy a wagon
