REVS Magazine Scooby/Cossie Track Day
#1
Hi peeps!
I know this should really be in events, but there's no 'general' section.
Anyway, at the recent Scoob/Cossie shoot-out, Neil, the dep' ed' of REVS expressed an interest in organising a Scooby/Cossie track day.
The final venue/price are yet to be decided, but it should be no more than £50!!!!
About 30 cars from each camp will be allowed, and it should be run in sessions of 'experience', novices, etc.
Who would be interested in this, bearing in mind you'll also get in the mag and become a celebrity, just like.......Pete Croney!
Stef.

Don't worry, there will be no competition.
It's just a chance to get your car on track cheaply and enjoy yourself. There'll be instructors there too to help you out.
It would be great if a few ladies turn-up. They actually had a ladies-only day at Three Sisters a few months back which went really well.

Hi
In reply to tony who stated that the cossies would be breaking down after one lap, but,
when I attended the Donington track day,
forgive me if I am wrong but there seemed
quite a few scoobies being helped back in,
before everyone asks I like scoobies and cossies but hanker after a Evo6 RS Sprint
by the way, the last revs shootout I attended was brilliant and was at croft (blue
sierra cossie crashed and was pictured in revs) I can recommend it all day for free!

I'd like to play ... please keep me informed.
Barksie
Not wishing to get involved in a reliability argument but my car was one of those helped back to the pit lane at Donnington.
It was nothing to do with mechanical error.
Just the buffoon behind the wheel.
Have fun with the Sprint. Pity they don't come in black though.
