Seein as I'm lookin to buy a Classic Import Turbo (Impreza) I was just wondering if the problems people mention on getting insurance on imported Imprezas is as bad as they say?

I'm fortunate to live in a "good insurance" area but just wondered what everyone else paid?

26 Years Old, GOOD postcode, full protected NCB, No Claims/Convictions.

Is it a jap import or a Euro? If it's just a Euro import and full UK spec, the insurance shouldn't be any different to a UK car. Most people on here insuring imports are insuring WRX or STi models rather than a straight "turbo".

Would more than likely be a Jap mate, not sure where to source a Euro import? (No "from Europe" jokes please! Hehehe)

I would be after a WRX too I reckon.
