Mail order parts? Fed up with local dealer.
#1
Went into my local scooby dealers Saturday morning, with 2-year old son in tow. The place seemed deserted. The only person I could see was a Skoda salesman deep in earnest negotiations, and someone on the phone who stopped after a bit and said "I don't work here, you know, I'm only a customer."
After ten minutes of hanging around trying to prevent the two-year old from climbing in any cars or demolishing the display racks, I found someone.
"Do you work here?"
"Well, sort of, I'm the delivery man"
He went off and found a salesman, who came back and breezily told me that no-one was doing parts today. "But they will be next Saturday". Great.
No kind of apology for keeping me hanging around or not having the parts department open during open-parts-department hours.
I don't need this, and I'm fed up with wasted journeys and poor service. Is there somewhere that I can reliably order spares and get them posted to me in a couple of days?
