clutch change

Question

Please help my subaru wrx will soon need a new clutch, i would like to know if it is possible to do this on a diy basis as i dont have much trust in any of my local garages.

P.S. Helped my mate do mine a couple of weeks ago. The hardest bit is getting the box back in, but there is a nice and easy way.......

Don't know if you know this so I'll post it anyway...

To save draining the gearbox oil, leave the prop shaft in place at the gearbox end and take the box & shaft down together. You'll need at least three pairs of hands tho. The proper gearbox oil is expensive!!

See if you can do it in 3.6 hours - that’s the book time

how much do i want to know! good question,
as much as you know if you can spare the time
i have always maintained all my cars in the past but this one is going to be a bit more of a challenge than all the rest put together.
