Webmaster/mistresses always do apologise but why does it happen so often?Even old Audi Quattro forum communication doesn't freeze(break)like this.Only the Quattros do!

ScoobyNet is running on custom written software, because it just grew too large for a lot of the off the shelf stuff. There are also over 28,000 registered members, so that is a lot of database queries over a day!

So,is there any solution to it?Any other software rather than custom written one?Can it sort the prob out?Or may be a definite day(not the weekend!)when you Scoobynet webmasters can unactivate it to clear the datebase probs. This way,every1 will know and wouldn't bother trying to access for that time being.Just a thought!

The downtime that ScoobyNet suffers is actually very minimal, and when a problem does arrise it is normally resolved quickly.

Lets face it, the amount of time it took to fix that last problem was very minimal. Gave me time to do some "work"
