after filling my import wrx Type RA with Bp super Unleaded 97 ron.

i was on the m4 in fifth gear ,i hit the peadl the turbo cut in for a second then the car jolted and would not accelerate hard at all.

the Check engine light also appeared.

is this the safe mode when the car starts pinging ??
ia it because i ran BP 97 ron ??
do i have to reset the ecu if so how ??
have i damaged the engine??
should i drain the 97 ron out ,or just add an octane booster if so which one. and will it stop the car cutting out under hard power.

what else could it be ??

sorry for the questions

You can read trouble codes by plugging together the underdash connectors. http://www.ravensblade-impreza.com/m...agnosisegi.pdf

Ignition off.

Connect black connector under dash.

Ignition to position II.

The Check Engine light should then flash out the fault code(s) with long and then short pulses (or it might be the other way around, but it obviously spells out a 2 digit code and it keeps doing it). If there is more than one code it will do them in order and then start again.

Tell us the code(s) you get.

another point is i added this stuff made by Wynss ,its very similar to 10K boost in that you spray it on front of the maf sensor and it decokes the engine

could this be the cause ???
