I have searched about this and found a couple of threads indicating from 8 - 10k, is this about right? my new 03 has done 3k now and still feels way slower than my bog standard uk MY99, I know it's smoother and quieter etc, but power feels 'soft' for want of a btter word after 2nd gear, hoping that some more miles will sort this out and will at least go aswell as the 99 car.

What are the standard performance figues for an '03? 0-60 and top speed?

I found (purely subjectively) that my 02 STi felt like it was getting quicker and more responsive rigt up to about 15k miles. I don't think that 3k is any where near properly run in and loosened up. I've got 23k on the clock now and it feels quicker than ever.

I test drove a 03 WRX on sat and was told its official 0-60 is 5.9 where as the last classic was 6.2.
