You should be fine - S4 2.7 bi turbo = 0-60 mph 6.0 (Manual)
0-60 mph 6.7 (Tiptronic) but it depends on the driver too!

Although it also depends on what his Quat has been chipped to - best idea would be to check the bhp/ton ratio.

hi mate the audi s4 as about 260bhp or so and has more weight!.

i did have a chipped up a4 1.8 turbo and was going to get a S4 but then some kind person wrote my a4 off and now i have got a STI v4 import NOT modded in any way just rebuild the engine 8 moths ago! and wow it is very nice and very very quick i hae done about 175 in it on a air field and about 4 sec 0-60 pull off!.

only got beat by a Skyline R34! so u should be all over and in front the audi mate by farr!!.. .

Power to weight wise you scoob in standard form is about 220bhp ton his is standard form is 178bhp/ton and his modified is 228bhp/ton. Close call they should be pretty even on paper but
over a quarter mile I think you would have him though due to the type R gear ratios.

Maybe the Audi would have longer gears than the 'R'in which case you would say a big "CHEERS THEN" as you see him in your rear mirror.
My dosh would be on the scoob

I junked my STI V for an S4 a few years ago. Even that didnt feel that far off the STI. Lots more low down go as well. A lot of road tests have the std car in mid 5's to 60.

A chip on these cars makes a world of difference. You will have more torque than a std RS4. Jeff who posts on here has done some modding to his S4. I would say it would be pretty close. Given a good straight the S4 will win.

My S4 produces 409 bhp.....I would imagine a chipped S4 would be around the 310-320 bhp mark...should be an interesting run

Audi never produced a tiptronic version of the 2.7 biturbo S4.

Good luck

My engine is developing a few last minute hitches, as an engine does which is on the limit

Should be there, but not sure about the gas.

Whats "thunder"?? an STI???
