Hopefully not destined for muppetdom.
Question: To flash, then wave, or not to flash and wave manically enough to be seen?
In normal driving I flash, then wave but this can have potentially dangerous consequences in town if another driver assumes you're giving way. I know they shouldn't but it only takes one to make a mess of your scooby.
Vindaloo.

Flash the lights if suitable (i.e. not approaching a junction ) and wave
Blobster - at least it's not the Double Rimmer ...now *that* would be dangerous

Don't really bother anymore. In three months of ownership i think i've only ever had one response.
I'll wave/flash if i'm waved/flashed at, but that never happens either

Depends on where I am coming from....
Head on - flash then wave (or wave only if the flash can be mis-interpreted, I learnt that lesson early on in my Scoob ownership when a car almost came out of a side road in front of me)
Side to side (when overtaking) - look over and if I make eye contact will wave
From behind - flash
When in front - a quick burst of the hazard lights
On top - no experience yet!!!!!

It all depends on my mood. Sometimes flash, sometimes wave ALWAYS acknowledge!
How I look at it anyone who doesnt wave/flash back either
a) didnt see me
or
b) kiss my ****!
Not necessary the best way to look at it but its my way!!!

Flash, wave and ignored for most of the time
To be honest about a 50:50 response but none seem to be scoobynetters

No flash, just short wave (hand still on wheel, fingers raised), had 3 out of 5 acknowledge me in last week or so in Coventry.
The Rimmer style salute gets my vote though, if I ever see a scooby driver do that to me I will **** myself laughing and most likely crash the car, but it'll be almost worth it!
