Anyone had any thoughts on swapping the Optimax Car Promotion cards and splitting the prize? Does anyone know if this is legal/viable?

cant see why not i have 56 at the mo very few tyres in the cards i have .
also you don't have to buy petrol to get a card
just ask the nice man for one if he gets stroppy point out in the leaflet explaining the game it says no purchase needed.thus how i got 56 cards

We'll I got quite a few tyres and very few cars. But I'm still getting my head around the logistics of splitting the prize. A couple of the Beamers look appealing but which half to take as mine is a difficult choice. I'll go for the front half. With an engine it's at least got half a chance of moving.

 

I have a Crossfire Car. Anyone with the tyre and we can sell and split 50/50?

What you'll find is that someone will get the rare tyre or rare car part of the card. This person will get 99% of the prize because he can get the common part easily. If I had the rare part I could spend the rest of the day visiting all the Shell garages to get the match (or offer a fiver to someone who has it).

Oh well Floyd - one tries to find a magnanimous/equitable solution that would suit everyone (but obviously not all!). Might as well forget it then as who is to know what is rare and what is not. I will just have to "dream on" and hope for a little less cynicism in this world.
