Mods, can you please leave this in General for a while, thanks.

Washing the car yesterday and got the keys and immobiliser fob wet

I have turned off the siren on the alarm with the key, but cannot start the car as it is immobilised. Any way of getting round this?

The car is an MY97 and the alarm/immobiliser is a Serpi Star GR420.

I have a spare fob and key, but they have never worked. I have also tried a new battery in the fob.

Help please.....need to get to work tomorrow!!!

Terry
