Anyone know where I can get a cheap cat 1 alarm for my GT4. Its not an expensive mota, hence a cheap alarm. Don't care what model it is, as long as it gives me a certificate for the insurance company I'm not bothered.

Regards

Kev

Sounds silly but have you tried somewhere like Argos they sell Car Alarms and they are probably cheap.

Look for Cobra they are pretty cheap.

Only downside of cheap is it might not be much cop!

Good luck in your quest mate

You can get a Cobra Cat 1 for under £150. If it's a Cat 1 certified alarm it *should* do a proper job but there are Cat 1's and Cat 1's. Sounds to me like you don't mind though....

If it's a Cat 2 they require, you should be able to get this done for £99 - £125, this also includes them comming out to your house and fitting it. I 'think' a company called Sextons are the ones. If not ring some companies in your yellow pages and get a quote.
Also check with your insurance company if they have to be VSIB approved installers.
