Removing sunroof for ust treatment
#1
Title should say RUST treatment.....
My 98MY saloon has developed rust around the sunroof which was fitted when the car was ordered, it is a dealer or dealer's agent fitted Vermuelen Hollandia electric tilt/slide one.
The rust has been festering under the seal but is now visible as it has spread further than the seal. A local bodyshop will do what they can but they will do a better job if the sunroof is removed in its entirety....
Does anyone know how to remove the sunroof? Getting the roof lining out the way is easy but what is the easiest way of removing the roof??
thanks

Thanks for the quick reply and excellent link, the sunroof featured looks like the same as mine which means mine is GLUED and screwed in place!! Looks like the paintshop will have to sort out the rust with the sunroof in situ!
