I am about to buy a scooby Type R V4. I have only ever driven my friends WRX estate and whilst impressed I almost got caught out at a junction, I put my foot down to pull out and nothing happened. My last two cars have been BMW's, a 325 coupe and my current 328 convertible (both 98 R's). Whilst both cars would be much slower than the type R, the power is instant.
What is the best mod to gain more power further down the rev range?

Anti lag a free flowing exhaust helped the turbo spin up quicker on my lancia. You will just have to adapt your driving style that's all
