happily got myself a series macrae '96. very very pleased, even if the buggers who sold me it slightly ripped me! after driving a civic for 3 years it feels like i've bought a jet plane! being a complete eejit when it comes to cars, i just wanna have some ideas from you guys who are obviously more clued up than me. is an induction system a good idea? does it help the car go a wee bit faster and which one would you recommend? reason asking, some guy at demon squeeks didn't help at all! also if anyone has any tips for a virgin scooby owner!
ps does anyone know how long it takes for an interior plate for a limited edition car to be made up? i;ve been waiting 6 weeks now! thnks in advance for any help.

on the induiction thing it's a bit of a subject this as u will see if you have a butchers at drivetrain section. Generally you should be on safer ground than later cars which have liquid MAF (mass air flow sensor thingy) but many still wont recommend 'em but loadsa people use em & they make a cool sound & slight improvement in performance K&N cone thingamies pretty well received as i recall. You could also do ITG panel filter which theoretically slightly safer but with less air flow than cones or sumin it's all about choice really & all that above is IMO from general viewing.....
