Wink

Took the Scoob to Cornwall last week and whilst driving through St Austell passed a red UK turbo coming the other way.

Other driver......70 year old women with blue rinse( who didn't wave.)

There have been a few posts recently about unwelcome trends in Scooby ownership e.g No Fear sticker inadequates etc.

Looks like we have nothing to worry about.

What next.... a Saga back box.

So, how did 70 one year old women all get in the driver's seat? Most year old women don't have hair, let alone a blue rinse.

Around here (Lancs/W. Yorks) you will also see these cars driven by grammatical pedants.

BarryK,

Thank you.

I presume an 'a' is required before '70.'

What is a pedant?

In one of those rare moments when I had some cash buring a hole in my wallet I went to my local 'up-market' Italian. Two old dears, at least in their late sixties, left in a Ferrari 355 as I arrived. She booted the beast down the road like a pro.

Commenting about this to the manager he remarked that she sometimes turned up in an Elise when the weather was fine.

So, if you are in Leeds and spot a 355 going like a bat out of hell, check to see if there is a blue rinse behind the wheel.

Thumbs up

Talking about Max Power, did anybody see the documentary "Cruising to the Max" last night? It was about Max Power readers going to "cruises" where various w@nkers hang around looking at Saxos and Escorts and burning off tyres. Max Power rate the cruises according to various criteria like whether the rozzers appear, how many shagnasty birds get their tops off and how many blokes drop their trousers, and organisers try to get into the top ten. No Scoobies visible thank God, and no old ladies.
