When did V5 become V6???

As above, when was the changeover between V5 and V6?
My car is a MY00 (May 2000) so would it be classed as a V5 or V6?
I thought that the re-vamped front bumper with wedges etc made it a 6 but maybe someone could confirm and tell me the differences?

If you are talking UK models the diffeence between MY99 and MY00 were :
Remote central locking standard
Intermittant wash wipe changes
New 16in alloys
Colour coded mirrors and door handles
Metallic facia to dashboard
Map reading lights
New gear ****
