Mods Know you will move this soon but could you leave it for a while just to get a quick response thx
Just had me scoob serviced.Dealer says i need the front discs and pads replaced. They are tarox discs grooved(not sure of model)
they recommended standard subaru ones but i wanted something with a bit more stopping power.
Budget of around £300-500
any ideas of which ones and where to get them. I will need them fitting as well as i am a dunce
I have 17" OZ ST
thx in advance

Get a second opinion mate.
Of course they will try and sell u subaru parts.
Plus their hourly rates for fitting them.
Just edited to say look at graham goodes pricelist, not usually the cheapest.

Pagid group n+ discs and pads, far better than the OEM stuff, just fitted some to MY99. They are very easy to change, jack up car remove wheel, remove 2 x bolts that holds the caliper on, remove caliper, slid off disc, if its stuck insert two bolts into hub of disc and screw in, this will push the disc off. Fitting is the reverse of above, make sure when fitting the new disc that the hub surface is clean, should only take you an hour tops.
If you are not confident with this, get your dealer to replace them, suspect they may charge you more than 1 hour though.
