howdy all

does anyone use one of these?

they look good but can anyone get them cheaper?

i leather the car down normally but the leathers too much hard work, too heavy with water or it feels like its dragging over the body work as the car drys off...and one use non leather chamois instead?? are they any better???

I use one of these, or the AutoGlym equivalent... works well.

Very rapidly dries the main parts of the car, then use the chamois for the detail.

Well worth it.

cheers dunk 5 bones seems like a good price to me!

the autoglym one goes for around 13 bones which seems expensive to me.

but then again i`m a tight *******!

Yup got one, excellent on glass and flat surfaces but the scoob has a lot of curves so is not ideal, works much better on the wifes 3 series.

Apparently they don't scratch as they're made of medical grade silicone (like implants??) & this is softer than chamois or towels (so the guff said on my label) and virtually eliminates smears. I've used one for ages and its great, though not sure if the cheapo ones are made of the same stuff? (or was I just ripped off) HotRod

Just ripped off.
So long as there's no grit on the blade or car it won't scratch.
Rinse, rinse and rinse again b4 drying.

yeah make sure the blade is totally clean before using. i normally wash it down with the hose before putting it on my paintwork
