do haynes or anyone similar do a workshop manual for MY97 impreza turbo?

nope

only book is "you and your impreza" and is more of a history and few bits a pieces on modding but not a haynes workshop manual type of book.

Got the Legacy manual and there's a lot of stuff that's the same.

As chrisp says , no Haynes manual their are a few on-line ones around ,try a search on Scoobynet ,or look at this thread manual
