Got my car back last weekend, have to run it in for 1000 miles

Sub 3k is so painful. I had a jumped up tw@t in a Nova trying to race me and got past ( i was in the slow lane doing 70 in 5th)

oooh the pain 200 down 800 to go

I have just had to do that on my lancia and it took forever due to the fact I couldn't be bothered At least you probably have a stereo, I have a boost gauge where my stereo used to live

It's even worse when you have a replacement engine fitted

Maybe you could take a radio casette player with batteries into the car LOL

Yep 16 valve integrale I just re-built the engine after a cambelt snapped (due to some dick putting the old one back on after re-building my engine for me [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]) It took me 3 months I think just to put 700 miles on

Know exactly what you mean. The crank went on mine and it is horrible limited. 3k and it hit 60 and thats it. I too got over took by a nova. Wonder if he fancies another go. Still runnin it in slowly, at min it is at 4500 so think i am gona increase it by 500 for every 500 miles i do
