Just took my new WRX in for it's 1st service and noticed that sitting in the corner of the garage workshop was a fair size pile of brand new looking, slightly grubby sti exhausts.....mmmmm, after asking the mechanic was told that when customers pick up their brand new sti's they normally book them in for the PPP treatment on the 1st service, lo and behold the customer has the first service and gets the PPP kit on and doesnt want to know about his old (1000 miles old) sti exhaust. Mechanic told me they just bin the old exhaust out the back. Something tells me i may have to pop by my dealers one night after work when they're shut and have a peek in their bin....could do with a nice STi system on my WRX....for free!
Just out of interest does anyone know if the STI 8 echaust will make any difference (good or bad) to a new MY03 WRX ?

Cool

Works really well with de-cat downpipe here, shame I paid a few quid more for it but I'm happy, grrrr :-)

I have a my01 bugeye with full de-cat and fitted STi 8 which I got for free. Looks great and still goes ok, previously had a scoobysport b/box fitted but they neighbours said it was noisy in the early hours of the morning. The STi 8 b/box doesn't sound as good as the scooby sport and i didn't really notice a change in performance.
